Thanks Allison. Our students really enjoyed having Josh and Richard visit. We are planning on posting the videos from the seminar on 117's website.
Doing a podcast in your Division is the exact type of thing we were hoping would come out of this!

Can I just say, I loved the fact that we got the chance to be part of the podcast! I feel like I'm starting to catch up with the rest of the world...I have a blog, I comment on other people's blogs, I'm with MySpace, I've been part of a podcast, I've learned how to use MovieMaker, and am getting ready to step up to more advance stuff...it is an exciting time to be a part of the world of technology!

yeah, it was interesting. the most helpful info i got out of it, was the different software available to us. i'm all about resources. i like to be able to find something that fits my needs, without having to invent it, you know? so i'm all about getting swish to make some flash movies. very interesting.
and about starting a podcast. i think it could be interesting. but i'm leaning more towards looking into what podcasts are already out there that i can learn from first. any good youthworker podcasts?
oh, btw, i'm on the podcast! i forget what i said, but nothing pivotal or significant. i think i was trying to be funny....again.....

Hi Jenn,
Techmission also has an ongoing training podcast which they do specifically about new media etc. (Search previous postings for the link). I think you have to become a member in order to participate and hear this training, but it's well worth it if you are interested in this subject.
