This past weekend, Sharon, the kids and I went to see the new film, Akeelah and the Bee. This was a nice film that connects the idea of literacy, situated learning and increased possibility.While there was an element of predictability to the plot - we found ourselves willing to suspend our disbelief to journey with Akeelah.
It's worth going to see this film - I'd recommend it.

Our kids loved this movie too.
We miss you guys and think of you often. Give our love to the gang there, and give the girls big hugs from all of us!
